It seems kind of backwards to celebrate mother’s day by giving gifts which were made by mother’s who were treated unfairly and produced in a way that harmed mama earth as well. So to combat this, I put together a little gift set of items which are made ethically, sustainably, can biodegrade or be recycled at the end of their lifecycle, and are made by women paid fairly in a company with at least one female founder. Letting us celebrate your mother and other mothers in kind.

These two naturally sourced materials mean the entire slipper can be composted at the end of its lifecycle – unlike most slippers which are laden with non-biodegradable acrylic materials and rubber.
